Your baby deserves to be loved.
The precious baby growing inside you has many of your characteristics. Maybe she has your pretty hair or the same cute nose as you. Maybe he has your loving smile or your bright eyes.
And, just like you, your baby needs love. Maybe you already have strong feelings for your baby. Maybe you are confused and don’t know how to feel. Maybe you wish this whole pregnancy thing had never happened and it would just go away.
All of these feelings are normal. But the best way to come through this pregnancy successfully is to remember this simple fact: you and your baby need each other.
Parenthood? Adoption?
As a teen mother, you must decide whether you or someone else should raise your baby. It takes a lot of love to raise a child. Some teen mothers are equipped to do the job well. Some teen mothers are not. If you are a pregnant teen and unsure what to do, there are people who can help you understand the options available for you and your baby. Call the Pregnancy Help Line 1-800-395-HELP to talk to someone who understands what you are going through. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are waiting to hear from you.
